As I’ve mentioned before I am a self-proclaimed personal development junkie. And books have changed my life, literally and for forever. This one that I am presently reading is over the top inspiring me and helping me get unstuck and back on track! Not that anyone else ever gets distracted or anything…
Hope you enjoy my viewpoint.
P.S. I’d love to hear about your book recommendation – please share here. Thank you.
To get a copy of this book – only available on this link – technically not on the stands yet and consistently sold out…

With a smile,
What do those words really, truly mean? I believe it is a statement of encouragement to say that we should live in the moment and to stop reliving our past that we cannot change. Or to embrace today while we have it.
Today would have been my Mother’s birthday – and every day for 36 years I have felt her loss. She passed on December 4 at the age of 44…
This blog post is dedicated to my Mother and another young mother that we lost this week. Nancy was my daughter’s dearest friend for 15 years, Nancy was just 42. Please watch my video and hear my feelings on
what this question brings to my mind.
And here’s the link to Dr. Steve Taubman’s CD – he is running a Holiday special and after back and forth emails, personally with the Dr. he asked that I share this holiday special he is offering. And since I am passionate about what I am experiencing already it is a given that I share it. I love the words on the cover: “How to Wake Up, Start Over, And Create The Life You’re Meant to Live“. Maybe that’s the true answer to living in the moment! Please note, I am not an affiliate, just a very happy consumer: http://stevetaubman.com/specials/
With joy in my heart and warm wishes for a fabulous Christmas season,
Wow, time definitely vanishes when you are having fun…and I have been missing in action as of late! Why, because I have had to re-vamp my business plan and re-strategize my business direction. I’ve been doing the blogging for well over 5 months and been totally focused and when I looked up I realized I been missing in action in lots of ways!
I love the internet and I love connecting with people, but I have discovered, for me, I need the activity of actually meeting people face to face and sharing the fun that I am having. As much as I love to write and video, it doesn’t seem, for me, to make the same impact as my offline connecting does. I have one mission and that is to make a difference and if I am not fulfilling it in this chosen method I need to take stock of why and re-adjust.
So my post this week is just a simple suggestion that you, too, look at what you have been doing, whether it’s blogging, article writing, offline networking, direct mail, etc and analyze your results. Is your activity just busy work to fill your time every day so you can take something off your to-do list…or are you really working in your business and connecting with people that need your product or service. Are you building relationships for future prosperity for both you and your prospect?
It is truly amazing what has been going on for me in the past couple weeks after I did some analyzing and changed my course of activity. I want so much to draw the traffic and bring the people that I can help to me online. But for me personally I figured out right now I love more being out and about and hugging people and showing my product personally from my own hand. It has energized me and my massive action is building and so are my massive results!
So if you have a business that suggests you talk to your warm market first – maybe you might want to re-visit that wisdom. I have re-crossed paths with some people that have never asked about my business before, but suddenly I am in front of them personally and they are telling me to call them. Not an isolated response…an every day occurrence.
Personally, I believe life is too short to be on a detour all the time!
Sending you a smile and wishing you prosperity in all you do,
I have to tell you this is not for the faint of heart! Please ignore the ‘wind’ hairstyle – I do live in Dorothy land – next time I’ll look in the mirror first! Just another smile to share!
Are you ready? Go to lunch or dinner at one of your favorite restaurants. When you are getting ready to leave – try putting your coat on upside down! You’ll not only laugh at yourself – you’ll catch someone’s eye whose done the same thing and everyone smiles! I know – I’ve done it!
May you receive a smile in return for yours…it truly is contagious.
P.S. Would you like to share a tip? If you comment and share one you’ll go into a drawing for thank you gift.
I struggle with this all the time because I am so easily distracted by all the buzz going on around me. Get this, do this, try this, this is the magic bullet just sign up here! I’m so guilty of allowing myself to step off my path to my ultimate goal! And I don’t even have to wonder why my checks are not where I want them to be – I KNOW why! And I reflect back on my actions and I find I was all over the place with my actions!
So today, I am making a pledge to take my business to a whole new level by simply getting back on being consistent with my daily actions. Now with that said, I went looking for a quote I used to have posted on my wall until we moved and I de-cluttered and lost it! I found the quotes interesting, Tom Hopkins says our daily habits is a reflection of our success as does Anthony Robbins, but then I found other quotes arguing that people that are consistent are dead! Hello???
Wow, lots of opinions out there, but my challenge to you is to please share what works for you? Do you easily stay on track doing the same thing day in and day out? Do you find yourself bored to tears after a month of the same thing? Do you go off to try something different before you finished the previous project?
This is short and sweet because I am personally getting back to the activity that worked for me in the past and that I somehow got off track.
Sending you a smile,
I know most of you are scratching your head and going – what??? I’ve included the professional definition down below, but more importantly I’d like you to read my story and how it relates to anyone in business.
The key words in ‘Rolfing’ to me are restructuring and movement education. You see I was ‘Rolfed’ – 4 1/2 years ago to stop the progression of my scoliosis that had me twisted up and in pain for over 7 years. One specialist after another tried their best to relieve my chronic pain, on meds for a year that only left me in worst pain when I got off them, shoe lifts, brutal and exhausting visits with chiropractors, thee best Kinesiologists, physcial therapy…the list goes on.
But I discovered the practice of Rolfing in a Readers Digest article and I kept it and somehow knew that was the answer to my problem. And it was – 10 brutal and painful sessions later (not all of them) I emerged taller, more energetic, lost 10 pounds almost overnight (no, not recommended for a weight loss approach, just a side affect for me). And I was out of pain and in alignment and life was grand again. I had not realized how much chronic pain had affected everything in my life until I got it back!
Tomorrow I have to re-visit my Rolfer for a tune up – aches and pains and commotion are going on that I have to cut off at the pass. And this so reflects where I am in my business right now and thought maybe you could relate, too.
Do you ever find yourself out of alignment with what you really feel is the right way to be doing your business or personal life? I am in the middle of re-structuring what I started a while back when I became concerned I was not growing fast enough or watching others fly by me. I really had to take a step back to see what in the world I was doing because I had gotten way off to track and been distracted by watching other people’s activities. When I should have listened to this quote: “Never mind what others do: do better than yourself, beat your own record from day to day and you are a success.” — William J. H. Boetcker
I tried to re-invent the wheel for my business and put in place some marketing strategies that I felt were important, and certainly I did not want to be left behind in Social Media, etc. But I fell and hit my head (just kidding) and I saw the light and I realized it was time to get back to the basics that had worked for me before. I have to admit it’s a bit of a struggle, because I have to re-establish the rhythm I had and reconnect back to the structure that I walked away from…thinking there was a better, faster way.
But you know what I’ve found to be true: “Success is consistency of action. Doing the basics over and over again.” So I have restructured my strategies and thanks to my friend, Val, sharing her wisdom and incredible insight I am not only now in Massive Action, but I am taking inspired massive action and am ‘Rolfing’ my business!
Here’s the real explanation for ‘Rolfing’…maybe you’ll see how it connects to you and your business, too.
Passing on a smile,
What is Rolfing?
Rolfing® is an original and scientifically validated system of body restructuring and movement education. Through the ten session Rolfing® series the body is balanced in relationship to itself and within the field of gravity by working with the connective tissue.
The scientific theory that a physical object vertically aligned within the field of gravity moves through space more efficiently is one of the key principles of Rolfing®. This balance in the field of gravity is achieved by bringing segments of the body (head, neck, torso, pelvis, legs and feet) into a more structurally organized relationship with one another. As Dr. Rolf said, “Gravity is the therapist.” “What is Rolfing?”
